Here’s what the team wants you to know:

We’re Whisker Bear from Jefferson Jr. Sr. HS in JeffCo! We are a team of strong, independent, driven young women, proud of our various cultural backgrounds and languages, brought together by DI, humor, and mutual respect. We are proud of our ability to overcome personal, academic, and team struggles together as a group of four young women. We learn from one another in all we do and through DI, we have learned to put others before ourselves. Our solution this year was to create a podcast based off our outreach with the senior community center. We decided to engage all ages of listeners by telling it like a fairy tale with anxiety (ansiedad) and depression (depresión) as actual characters bringing down the senior’s joy. Our narrator and the quirky character represents our team coming in to save the day and bring back hope through unity, laughter, and memories. We hope you enjoy.
