DI Extreme – Existing Team

Who:

This purchase link is for current Middle and Secondary Level Teams. Teams that are formed and competing in the 2025 season and have a team number.

What:

Think of it as a Super-sized Instant Challenge. Teams do not know anything about the Challenge in advance of the competition. On competition day, they will receive their Challenge and the materials with which to solve it.

When:

Saturday, April 5th

Why:

Because it’s SUPER fun! The eXtreme Challenge requires teams to be ready for anything in order to meet the demands of the Challenge and whatever obstacles are thrown their way.

Team Formation

• The eXtreme team can have the same members as a team competing in a competitive Challenge.

• However, the eXtreme team does not need to have the same members as those who may be solving a competitive Challenge.

• In fact, the eXtreme team does not need to be competing in any other competitive Challenge at all.

• Mix up the team all you want, except…

• Students can only compete on one eXtreme team.

Registration

• Register for this event by March 14th. Email Kate (kate@dicolorado.com) after you check-out we’ll give you further instructions.

• Teams do not buy a Team Number from DI to participate in DI eXtreme. However, teams will register for this tournament event after purchase.  Information will follow.

• How much does it cost? The eXtreme Tournament Registration Fee is $100 for teams with a current team number.

• Do I have to provide a volunteer/appraiser for the tournament?

  • Teams who have already provided a tournament day volunteer are not required to provide an additional volunteer/Appraiser for their eXtreme team.
